TBX SETUP

The TravelBox (TBX) Setup Module enables you to define, create & configure TBX parameters to uniquely meet your business needs. The criteria entered in this module will be used throughout the entire TBX system in multiple modules, from creating separate companies (i.e. separate legal entities) to defining geographical locations and configuring document generation rules. The Setup Module is divided into the following sub headings, each with its own menu

Operations – Provides interface to refresh, save, close and exit data within the module.

General – Define separate Companies, Divisions and Brands plus set-up common Parameters for use in other modules

Destinations – Setup geographical locations, airports and create bespoke location groups

Contracting – Configure unique contract status and stage flow for the various Product loading modules within TBX. Define loading module interface inclusions for contract rate types, create accommodation occupancy descriptions and groups plus define the passenger sharing rules for them.

Flights - Setup the parameters used for flight inventory and GDS / Flight component connectivity.

Hotels - Setup the parameters used for Hotel host to host (H2H) connectivity and commission structure

Reservation – Setup the parameters used within the Reservations Manager including various request and reason types as well as Advisory Note setup

Finance – Setup the parameters used for your financial business rules including exchange rates, deposit, cancellation, option status and amendment rules.

Coding Levels – This section relates specifically to the Package Builder Module with the exception of Product Combinations, these can be used to control pricing rules, including discounts and business rules such as cancellations and amendments.

Documents – Configure documentation rules i.e. select default templates and dispatch methods and frequency. Apply attachment details and e-mail content.

Over Booking – Provides interface to refresh, save, close and exit data within the module.
