Highlights of 2008

Year 2008, was also filled with many happy memories from various entertaining events organized by the welfare team.

Codegen Bowling Fiesta
Away from routine work, it was fun in a different format as the Codegen staff hit the Bowling Alley at Excel world during 2008. An increased number of ladies’ participation was also evident, adding more colour to this event.

Codegen New Year Beach Festival

For the first time in Codegen’s history, a festival with traditional New Year games was organized for the Sinhalese & Hindu New Year in April, 2008. The event was held at the beach adding more variety to the festival that had various exiting events which brought immense fun for everybody.

Codegen Day-Out

Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, the employees drove themselves for a day-off at the Wadduwa villa ocean view beach resort, to enjoy themselves for a day of fun & laughter. Employees got themselves involved in various fun activities organized and had a nice evening enjoying the lovely sea breeze.

Christmas 2008

As the final event for the year, Codegen organized a Christmas party with the participation of Harsha & Kusal Subasinghe as the guests for the occasion. Christmas carols and various recreational activities were carried out to mark the Christmas and to say goodbye to 2008, while the CG music band performed through out the event.
