Interactive Map

Ru-Bank
The importance of a Geographic Information System in a destination management system is very high. Because, destinations are geographic locations and when managing destinations, geographic referencing is much easier than manual association of entities. The GIS in CodeGen’s DMS provide functionality to make geo references to entities and filter those entities with relation to destinations and their geographic locations. This interface is used by other systems in the DMS to provide geo location based searching and filtering of the content and products.
It also has other features to show roads and give directions in the destination. The added functionality in this feature is that it uses the DMS CORE system to associate entities and products along the path. This is a very convenient and efficient functionality in a destination management system since it allows the end users/ clients to search for their products or attractions based on a geographic location or a route which they would like to visit. From the map clients can quickly and easily find:

  • Where to stay – All types of accommodation
  • Things to see – Places of interest such as museums
  • Things to do – Entertainment
  • Directions – How to get from one place to another, with distance and approximate timings
  • Itinerary planner  - Plan the entire journey along with all activities and attractions

Why don’t you have a go with the interactive map yourself? Explore the way we can make your destination come alive for your visitors.
